History Day 2016

The San Diego Center for Economics Education continues its support of History Day through the recognition of economics themes in students projects. The following students were given awards for their outstanding work. See below for images and descriptions of each project.

The grand senior level award of $250 went to Elias Jinich and Avi Waldmen for their website “Tequitui: Montezuma, Cortes and Fusion of Two Worlds.”

The second junior level award of $100 presented to to Elsa Baumgartner, Isabella Polfuss, Elisabeth Weiman and Jack Dorsey for their exhibit “Vikings: Raiders and Traders.”

The first junior level award of $100 went to Jaden Symons, Jack Bloom, Blake Mehran and Dustin Schrader for their documentary “The Gold Rush of 1849.”
